Vipers And Typhoons Fly Over Lithuania During Baltic Air Policing Military by Chris Clarke - 05/21/201510/01/2015 Share on Facebook Share 0 Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share 0 Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share 0 Total Shares Norwegian F-16s fly alongside Italian Eurofighter Typhoons over Lithuania during a Baltic Air Policing mission in some spectacular air-to-air formation flying. Its almost hard to imagine that the F-16 took its first flight nearly 20 years before the Typhoon. The Baltic air-policing mission is a NATO air defense Quick Reaction Alert in order to guard the airspace over the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Twice a year NATO brings in a group of fighters that seems to always lead to some spectacular photo ops.
